beautiful little game. thank u for spreading awareness!!
Simply brilliant!
Point well made. Sadly, we're living through earth's sixth major extinction event right now, and few people seem aware of that or the fact that it's our fault. I don't think avoiding plastic products will solve the issue, although it might help in the short term. Anyway, pretty little game, although I saw through your trash-obfuscation tricks quickly :P
Nice game! I am going to have my Spanish students create Bitsy games about environmental issues in Fall, would you allow me (and with help of others) create a Spanish and French translations of your game?
This is a really nice game to illustrate a point. Unfortunately turtles (and other sealife that ingest plastic) don't get do overs in real life :(
I think you used game mechanics really well to illustrate your point! I feel bad for my turtle...
thank you!
The fact that I couldn't tell the difference between trash and food really hit the nail on the head for me with the issue you were presenting in the game. I played it through a few times. I really enjoyed it. Bravo.
thanks so much! I'm glad you got my point!
This is a very cute game!
thank you!
A simple, but well made game, tells a good story. At first, it kind of was a bit hard, but you learn to spot the seaweed in some time. The Bitsy graphics are actually used very well in the sense that it's not too easy to recognise objects.
If you're interested, you could enter this game into our annual Game Development World Championship!
excellent! Glad you played, and I will definitely check out the competition!
Very cute. Took me a few times to get 10 food and zero trash, overall a very cute game with an adorable little pixel art style even if it is a bit short.
thanks! Definitely my shortest game, and I made it in a few hours. I appreciate you playing!
Love this! Really good message too, on top of some lovely art
Thanks!
poor little turtle!!! i got 3 diff endings and thankfully got the good one!
oh good! Its tricky
yeah a lot of the junk looks like sea creatures... i guess that is how it looks to turtles.....
Yes, I was inspired by a real photo of a turtle that has eaten a latex balloon and ribbon.
oh no :'(
